DECEMBER PET OF THE MONTH

"DAKOTA"

Dakota belongs to me and I have had him about 8 or 9 years. I can honestly say I have never had anyone love me like he does. He watches me constantly and is by my side every moment that I am home. When I leave when it is time for me to come home he will go and get on the arm of the couch and start looking out the window. It is so amazing how much love you can get from such a small creature. I have always had a special place in my heart for little white poodles because I had one before many years ago and that dog was the same, totally devoted to me. There was a chair I kept my purse in and when I would leave he would sit in that chair until I came home. I have never had a child that would do that. He does bark and I swear can hear a leaf drop. He just lets me know when he hears something and then quits. That does not bother me at all. He is always on guard.
